Enjoy a lecture and visual presentation by geologist Dr. Randall W. Parkinson, Florida International University, Sea Level Solutions Center, Miami, Florida.
Dr. Parkinson will discuss a National Park Service pilot project to identify one or more strategies to mitigate the destructive effects of sea-level rise on high priority archaeological sites in Biscayne and Everglades National Parks, to best preserve the natural and cultural heritage assets of these important sites.
